Remarks:
Ursula K. Le Guin withdrew her story from the novelette category in protest of SFWA's withdrawal of an offer of honorary membership to Polish writer Stanislaw Lem after protests by some SFWA members. (Lem, in his critical writings, had very little nice to say about any American SF writers others than Philip K. Dick.)
