The Richard Evans Memorial Prize was created to honor genre fiction authors selected as "highly worthy but insufficiently recognized". It carries a prize of £1,500. Judges haved included Pat Cadigan, John Clute, Rog Peyton, Terry Pratchett and David Pringle.
