Martin Greenberg, a co-founder of Gnome Press in 1948 and not to be confused with the later editor Martin H. Greenberg, produced five anthologies in the early 1950s on broad themes of future history, e.g. the stories in Journey to Infinity are "Arranged as a story of the Imaginative History of Mankind." A sixth volume in this "Adventures in Science Fiction" series, Coming Attractions (1957, isfdb), consisted of related essays.
