Ken Liu : Chinese SF

Adams: Best American SF&F <— Anthologies —> Clarke: Bests

The popularity of Chinese science fiction in recent years is due almost entirely to the work of Ken Liu, a writer in his own right, and translator of Cixin Liu's The Three-Body Problem in 2014. The success of that novel, which won a Hugo Award, led to two anthologies of short fiction by Chinese authors that had been translated over the years by Ken Liu.

Meanwhile another anthology, from Columbia University Press, was published in 2018, with works from various translators, and including seven authors not included in the Liu books.

Most-often included authors: Chen Qiufan (6), then Cixin Liu and Xia Jia (5 each).
