The Carl Brandon Society presents two awards: the Parallax Award, for "works of fiction created by a person of color", and the Kindred Award, for works of speculative fiction "dealing with issues of race and ethnicity". While not quite dormant, its presentations of awards is running a couple three years behind pubication dates.
